Too early? Not by much. Got some good news/bad news yesterday.
The good news is that the NFA is now working July pending dates. The bad news is that I know this because I received an error letter today for a Form 1 that went pending July 29, 2013. So, another 90 day wait if current processing times hold true. The error? I put .380/9mm in the caliber box. I'm going to correct it to "9mm" only and send it back today. |
Not even close! Not a single stamp received yet in the June 2013 pending thread and I already busted that guy's balls for posting way early as well. 
Oh, and that error letter means you're looking at closer to 120 days, not 90. I just received a May 2013 pending stamp that went into error status back in September (yes, that was 4 months ago, not 3). |

Yep, way too early. Haven't even heard of any June approvals yet. I went pending mid-July, had an error letter early December and hope to see my stamp mid/late March. I saw an approved stamp with a 31 May pending on nfatracker....so this thread is maybe a month early. July 22nd pending here.........sigh. |

Last time I checked, there were a couple of May 31 pending stamps that were recently approved. They will bust into June next week. Last thing we need is more negativity surrounding the already brutal wait times. This is a PENDING thread not an approved thread!

Nah, I just tell it how it is based on personally observed FACT so as to help keep people from getting their hopes up too high. Believe me, I have several dogs in this fight and am about to get screwed over royally regarding one Form 4, thanks to a possible relocation out of state. However, the 13'er in the post above you prefers to live in fantasy land. And I'll be sure to post in his thread when the first June pending finally arrives to remind him of how ridiculously early he was (ETA: BTW, I have two Form 1s that went pending in June, so I truly do hope they get started soon, but am doubtful). Some people just don't handle reality very well.

Form 1 sent 4/9
Check cashed 4/13 Don't recall my exact pending date as I last spoke with the ATF in August, but it was somewhere in mid July. It's sad that I've already had numerous late September eForms approved, and yet it will still be months for my April 9 snail mailed submission. |

Got an e-mail from my dealer that the stamp for my June pending Octane 45 had come in. I was on vacation so I stopped in today during lunch to pick it up. He walked out with two suppressors and said that my Octane 9 paperwork had come back over the weekend.

Spectre II Form 4, Trust Mailed: 5/9/13 Check cashed: 5/15/13 Pending: 7/18/13 Approved: 2/24/14 Arrived: 3/4/14 Examiner: Dudash I'll update the approval date and confirm the examiner when I pick it up tomorrow. Seems to be around 290 days for my last 3 items. EDIT - Updated Info |

I called the NFA after I got that one to check on this and they said that Parasky and Farris are working together. Well, update. My Form 1 submitted on April 9th was just approved on February 5th. I've still yet to receive the approved Form though. Any news man, did you end up receiving it? Whats worse than waiting to get approved?.....knowing that your approved and haven't received the stamp yet!

The "estimates" they give you over the phone mean precisely dick. It will be here before you know it. I feel your pain though as I have a ST Compressor that went pending 7/17/13.... |
