My Trust assignment sheet, where I fill in the parts of the SBR I'm building (receiver, barrel), has two witness lines.  Who signs as witnesses?  Is that on my end, or at ATF?  Makes no sense for me to have two people sign that form before I submit it.

I believe I'm supposed to fill in the current date where it says, "Executed On" near the bottom of the form.  The top part of the form has a date to fill in for when the Trust was signed.

Assignment sheet or schedule A?

I just sign the assignment sheet as trustee

Mine calls it an assignment sheet.  Does it sound the same as a Schedule A?  There is a place for me, the Trustee, to sign, in addition to the two lines for witnesses.

I just had a couple guys at the gun shop sign it.  They are just witnesses, that you are adding something to the trust. Seems kinda hokie .

Well, if that's what the ATFers want, I guess I'll get a couple of coworkers to sign it tomorrow.  I just don't want my eform submission rejected because I did or didn't sign something correctly.

Thanks

Ya know, trusts are a legal entity designed and intended by Congressional law to be created by lawyers. Sure, you may lawfully make your own, just like you lawfully can do your own dentistry, or lawfully remove your own appendix ….

Don't know what you mean.  My Trust is already completed, by two layers of lawyers.  The assignment sheets are specific to each of the Form 1's I'm submitting for SBRs.

Then I would ask your lawyers. That's what you pay them for. Their advice should carry more weight than anything you read on the internet.

Your Mileage May Vary.

When I was filling out my assignment sheet, I was told not to include the part that I am applying for until it gets approved. Since this was my first nfa item, I just had one United States dollar listed.

I have a schedule A that is funded by 1 round of 9mm.

This is part of my trust PDF.

I have assignment pages that I sign and put whatever I'm transferring into the trust. There are no witness, etc... spots on this page, just where I as trustee and grantor sign.

This is a separate PDF I submit with my trust package.

In total:
1.) executed trust
2.) certification of trust
3.) Assignment schedule (just the 1 item be it Form 1 or 4)
4.)5330.20 - i know its not needed but i include it.
