Current Form 3 Wait Times? > General NFA Questions

I'm in the process of getting my first suppressor!

My dealer has a TiRant 9mm on order from AAC right now. He said that AAC has manufactured the suppressor and sent off the Form 3s to the ATF, and now we are just in the waiting game for approval. From what he told me, the Form 3s were sent about 2 months ago, so does anyone have any reasonable guesses on how much longer we might have until they come back approved?

I know you can't be exact, but I'm just looking for a ballpark here.

I'm pretty excited for him to get it because they have a range in-house so he said I can shoot it

while I'm stuck in the year long wait for my Form 4. I just have to wait until I'm approved to take it home...

Got a gun in on F3 today that was submitted exactly 5 weeks ago.

Been waiting on TiRant 9mm for 5+ months, not sure of AAC has made those yet.

I received two on Form 3's today:
SBR submitted 5/22/13 approved 7/25/13
Silencer submitted 5/27/13 approved 7/27/13

Are the form 3 examiners divided up by state just like the form 1 and form 4 examiners?

Update got the form 3 approval. Now the long wait begins. Will be mailing out the forms on Tuesday

The dealer I purchased it through finally shipped my can to my local dealer.

Order date 14/Feb/2013
Arrival date 26/Aug/2013

This is for a Form 3.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean that the Form 3 took that long... unless you're sure the dealer had it in stock.
