If you current have them registerd to you as an individual and are transferring them to your trust, then you would retain them until the paperwork comes back. An SOT cannot "hold" the weapons for you. You would have to transfer them to the SOT and then he transfer them to your trust. That would double the time and the tax. I am curious as to why you would want to pay the gov another transfer tax just to move them from you to your trust. |
