hello everyone,

I have a Colt 6921 that my brother wants to buy off me.  Since it is registered to me, does another tax stamp have to be paid out for the transfer?  Will my brother have to pay a $200 tax stamp fee if I have already paid it the first time?  Since I am handing it down to another family member I was hoping not to pay another tax stamp.  Thanks.

unfortunately, it will require an additional $200 tax paid and a Form 4 transfer to be done.

the only tax free solution would be if you were to die and specify him as the heir in the will. he could fill out a tax exempt Form 5
