I know this is a totally noob question but...
I'm getting ready to send in my first Form 1 for an SBR. I will be enclosing two Form 1s, two certifications of citizenship (for good measure), a $200 check, and a copy of my trust (about 7 pages including my schedule A). I haven't seen this anywhere, and since I never mail anything anymore: what's the best way to mail these? Should my paperwork be folded up and in a regular white envelope or in a full 10 by 13 envelope? And should this be sent certified mail, first class, or priority? If just normal mail, how many stamps would I need to throw on there? I feel like an idiot that doesn't know how the USPS works anymore... |

I mailed my first Form 1 yesterday (first ever NFA item), did priority and wont be doing that again, almost 6 bucks to mail in regular envelope papers folded. I sent two copies of my trust as well. Thanks guys. Also, do you need to send in two copies of your trust or was that just to play it safe? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Thanks again. I guess it doesn't hurt to send everything in duplicate. Better safe then sorry. I'll be sending two of everything... Except the check lol. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I always send mine in 10x13 envelopes with three stamps, but it probably doesn't matter.
Only one copy of your trust and cert of citizenship is needed. The thing most people mess up on not printing the 2 copies of the Form 1 front and back (and each bearing an original signature). |
