| I think because "Class 3" is just the more commonly used name for title II weapons (like it or not). That is simply what everyone calls them. The same reason I was at the Dallas gun show a few weeks ago and saw a dealer selling 100's of different kinds of magazines with a huge sign over his booth reading "CLIPS." |
