| i just got off the horn with the ATF and while i've been pending sense July 1 on my form 1, they're running a 5 month wait time on all forms. was the lady i spoke to on crack or did something change? i thought the average was about 3 months from pending to approved. |

They're running pretty slow right now. 5 months might have been what they're told to tell you. This... I've been pending since 6-7 on 2 cans. I was told this a week ago. I'm expecting to see the stamps around the 4 month mark. If not, oh well. They'll get in when they get in. |
| I've got a couple that went pending in June. Still waiting on them. Such is life. I forgot about two SBR's that I had bought a while ago, they were sitting in the basement of the shop. Found out today some more suppressors were approved to transfer in, so another 3 forms to add to the system in a week or so. I think I've got 9 in the works now. Might be ten. |

I called Tuesday morning and was told that they are taking at least 5 months right now with all forms. So, I will just wait until 2012 for my sparrow.

It that true? I been pending since July 19 on a suppressor. Kind of was hoping to get it before the fall Knob Creek MG shoot, but oh well Edit: nfatracker.com says it might be approved this coming Friday! Praying that I get a phone call from my dealer sometime next week |

It's common practice to tell you that things will take longer than they actually do. That way, if it truly takes that long, you can't say you weren't warned, and if it's less time, then they're considered godsends.
It's what we do in the hospital all the time. Works! |

I just cleared a form in 105 days. The NFA Branch is down two inspectors and they are on target to clear 100,000 transfers this year. Give them a break. They tend to underpromise and overdeliver to the best of their ability. i understand the idea of telling someone it's going to take longer then it actually does. i deal with that sort of thing in my job in logistics. my question spawned from waiting 2 1/2 months before hearing this on the phone. that's all. |

I've got a couple of friends who have gotten home based FFL/SOT's, they didn't have much problems getting it taken care of. |
