[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ATF cashing checks FAST!!!

My checks arrived on 4/15/2011 and cleared at 9:00am central time 4/18/2011 hahaha! Now just 3 short months before I get my stamps.

Yes. Like the other two threads posted in the last week about the same subject, the ATF likes their money. Well, the .gov likes their money.

I sent my latest form 4 off on April 7 and it cleared my bank on April 22. It seems that back in 2009 when I did 2 form1's and a form 4 it took them about two weeks to cash my checks.

Maybe if they cashed my check this fast they will get my form 4 back in record time.

Hahaha too bad tax returns don't work that quickly. Money goes in really fast and comes out SLOW!

Ya know, if they'd increase the examiner department from 13 to 200 they might be able to process enough forms to knock a dent in the deficit.

BATFE is just like Insurance Companies. They will cash a check as FAST as they can but take their sweet time providing you service.

3 Form 4s received Thurs 3/31 and cashed on Tues 4/5
Wish my Forms came back that fast

For my last individual tax-paid Form 4 transfer, ATF did not cash my check until two weeks after I already had the approved form back in hand with the $200 tax stamp affixed.
