I just got my form 4 but the ATF didnt send the fungerprint cards and I am windering if the ATF will accept the cards from my sheriffs office

Yes....blue "APPLICANT" cards will work.
...and I recommend using the fingerprint cards.

The FD-258 fingerprint cards should have the correct ORI on them to avoid any delays in processing.

I just ordered cards from the BATFE web site, got them in just a few days. Relatively low cost and it is a small time compared to overall processing time. That way you get cards that are printed with the right info. http://www.atf.gov/forms/dcof/index.htm

Did you request the cards? Try asking and they prob would have sent them to you.

I just got my stamp back. We used the cards that the Sheriff used for people's CCW, I thought that might screw with me but it didnt... Took just short of 2 months to get my stamp. Good luck

WTF! It took 6 months for me to get my stamp and I just got it yesterday. That pisses me off. 2 months!!!!

It took me 16 months to get the stamp for my M16 six years ago...
