What is the most common reason listed in section #5 "Reason for Transportation of Firearms" I remember reading something on this recently and now can't find it. Thanks!

there is no "common reason", if you are going to take it to show and shoot it to your frends or relatives, just put down going to a shooting event. that is what I put down

IIRC, there's an arfcommer that got a form 1 approved for "chicks dig shorter barrels".

and another that got rejected for "pigeons" the days of being "cute" are pretty much over ..

put down a legitimate reason such as "lawful travel to state XX during 2011" (5320.20) or "lawful ownership (F1 or F4) and be done with it.

I put the same thing I put on My Form 1s or Form 4s when it asks why I need to own such items; "All Lawful Purposes".
