I have my C&R FFL and also an LLC in Florida. Here's what I would like to find an answer to since I haven't tried this yet and have been eyeballing some C&R Class III goodies.
Can I purchase the item for the LLC and transfer it to the same via my C&R FFL since I am the president of the LLC? |

yes, but you'll have to pay the $200 transfer tax. Why not just keep the item part of your C&R, or transfer it direct to your LLC - (which if coming from out of state would be a 2 tax deal anyhow).
I'm guessing you want to skip the transfer dealer so you can have posession sooner. - If thats the case, I'd pax the extra $200 too so I could play with it while I was waiting for the second transfer
