[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Duplicate Form 1?

I've been approved for my form 1 for almost two weeks now and I have concerns with the mail courier potentially not delivery some mail. So I have two question for those seasoned NFA people, is it normal for an approved form to take this long to receive? I may just be worrying for no reason but I'm in a 2 or 3 day shipping zone from WV. If this is a problem of lost mail what is the procedure for obtaining a duplicate? Thanks

I have no idea if two weeks is too long. I did have a Form 4 lost in the mail. My dealer called about the form and a certified copy was sent out in about three weeks.

Sometimes they can take a week before they get it stuffed in an envelope and out the door.
Also it's not sent priority or registered, just regular first class, so the USPS isn't going to go to great lengths to make sure you get it ASAP.
