Just found out today that I was approved on 5/8 for my form 4.  It is a MG, my first, but it has been 8 years since
I began trying to acquire it.

The original dealer who was going to do the transfer pretty much used every excuse in the book.  He lost paperwork,
payment for the stamp (gun was already paid for, he was just middleman), lost the gun, sherriff won't sign paperwork,
etc.

There were really no other dealers around my area until recently, and I had him transfer it out to a more respectable gentleman
who really got things moving.  I pick up the gun tonight, and after 8 years, I am ready to bring this fiasco to a close.

The 3 month wait on the stamp was nothing since I've pretty much been waiting on this gun since 2001.

I'm pretty sure you hold the record for transfer waiting period.

Wow. That sucks. But I guess the one good thing is the gun has likely doubled in price from the time you paid for it to what it is worth today. What did you get????

I cant believe anyone would accept the dealer being a pain in the ass for that long, I'm getting annoyed at my dealer not knowing where my suppressors are and its only been 6 weeks since I ordered them, I'd expect at least the serial numbers by now.

Well, I picked her up at around 5 today.  It's an M11/9.  And yes, it has doubled in value.  Heck I didn't even give a grand for it.

It sucked, but it is awesome now that I have it.  There is a lot of back story really that would probably
take 3 pages to type up.  I pretty much had to threaten legal action and still I wasn't sure that was going
to do the trick.

I was still waiting for it after that and was going the next day to file a claim in small claims court, when my new dealer
called me up and said "You'll never believe what was laying on my door when I got home".

Sorry no pics right now, I really don't have a digital camera that will take anything worth a damn.  I'm off to Florida
for a week and a half, but I'll use the GF's camera and put some pics up when I return.

When I have time, I'll write up a detailed report of exactly what happened and why it took that long, for those that
are interested.

Please post the whole story.... this is one of the craziest stories I've ever heard.
Anyway, congrats!

Had you posted about it before? I seem to remember reading about it, or at least a story like it, well over a year ago. Maybe it was someone else who had the same sort of issues you did, but I hope not. Any way, glad you finally got it.
