I'm completing my Form 1 to SBR my AR-15 and I don't know what to put for overall length.  I'm going to build with a 10.5" upper and a Magpul CTR collapsible stock.  I don't have the Magpul yet so I have no idea how long the overall rifle will be when completed.  Is it measured with stock extended or retracted?

Thanks!

You measure with the stock extended. Colt's 11.5" carbine is 30" with the stock extended, so a 10.5" carbine should be in the ballpark of 29".

I called NFA a couple weeks ago with the same question...
