| When sending them in with your trust, do you list the NFA item you are currently applying for on them? Thanks! |
| Wait a minute. I'm a bit confused. So when you send your Schedule A in it should NOT have the receiver listed on it? It only gets added to the schedule A after it's been approved? I'm asking because I already had my attorney prepare the schedule A for three receivers in anticipation of sending in my Form 1s. |
|
I put the item on the form 1/4 that i'm sending in on the schedule A and I recommend doing so in my guide. www.86th.org/?id=nfa-trust
I haven't heard of anyone ever being rejected for sending their schedule A in with the item on it. |

They cannot be legal SBRs until you get approved. If they are AR rec #123456, etc... there is no problem... |
| Here is the reason I asked. My Class III dealer called and said my examiner had called and needed the Schedule A, B and C from my trust. She said they could be blank, they just needed them to complete the trust. I faxed her the three - each has "no scheduled items" listed. |
I did my first NFA Trust item with a blank form. Each state and local laws may say something different. If your attorney or state says to place the item in trust before its approved then do it. My state has no specifications. When I was asked by my examiner to send my Schedule A, I asked if a blank sheet of paper was good since I had nothing in the trust as the NFA item had not been approved yet. All she told me to do was make sure it said "Schedule A" top and bottom. That was several years ago and nearly two " full Schedule A" pages later I have had no problems.
