ATF received my Form 1 (Trust) July 21st.  I called today and was told it was assigned to Ted Clutter on Sept. 2nd.  Does that mean it is pending? Is "Pending" past the point of "Denied" or "Problem"?  Does anyone have any good or bad stories about Ted Clutter?  I used a link from Arfcom  which rates the examiners, but did not see Ted's name on the list.  BTW, guy who answered the phone was in a good mood, even made fun of my long trust name. Thanks for any answers.

I have three forms this year.  One mailed May 8, recevied August 10 or so, one mailed June 8 received August 15th or so, One mailed Juy 20th, haven't heard on that one yet...

And they all go through my same examiner, so go figure...just don't try to predict the calender...

Pending means that it has been assigned to an examiner and is awaiting his review to determine whether or not it will be approved, denied, or returned to you without action for further information.

My Form 1 was received by the NFA Branch on 7/1/08 and went pending on 8/13/08.  It was assigned to Ted Clutter. I haven't heard a peep otherwise.  As of yesterday, it is still in pending status. As of this morning, it's been 73 days since I mailed in the forms. Patiently and anxiously waiting.
