| I've never had anything engraved before and would like to see the quality of their engraving before I send off my lower. I am only interested in text engraving, not custom images. Their site was not very helpful with this. Thanks. |

I'd rather not post pictures of my SBR engravings, but both lowers I had done were perfect. I was amazed at the turn around time on each. Also I was surprised that when I had a payment problem with my second lower, I had received it back before Orion had even been paid for the job. Go with them, you will be happy. |

Orion's work is TOP SHELF all the way. After a couple emails to Ryan, I decided to have the front of the mag well on my POF receiver engraved. I didn't want the engraving sticking out like a billboard yet needed it to be 100% legal. I had only one shot at getting this right as I had already sent in my forms. If the engraving got screwed up, I was stuck with it... ugly or not... Orion came through with flying colors!!! They did exactly what was agreed upon and I couldn't be happier with the results. Unless you were directed right to the engraving, you'd never know it was there! AND... It's 100% ATF legal!! I have two more recievers on order for my next SBR builds. NO if's, and's or but's... it will be Orion that will handle the engraving!!! |
I don't care to see your name or the name of your trust, most peoples pics have that info covered anyways. I see no harm in anyone seeing that you are from Wherever, TX though. |
The pics of the "ATF Markings" on their site is what they will look like on your lower with the exception that they will be somewhere on your lower & not on a shotgun barrel. They do the best work so send it off with confidence. |
+1 I UPS'ed my receiver to them on 6/11 and it's being delivered back to me today! 8 days door to door turn around! I probably won't post a pic of it but I will report back tonight on how happy I am with the results. |
Well mine was sitting there waiting on me when I got home. Pulled it out and it looked real nice. Only issue for me was they didn't do a great job of "blackening" the engraving. No big deal, sprayed with some break cleaner, dried it off then pooled some BC Aluma Black over the engraving for about 5 mins and now it damn near looks factory
E-mail them. It might take a day or 2 for them to respond but their prices depend on how many lines you want and where? |
