Why wait the extra time for the engraving? Send off the form 1 now.

I'd just send the forms off now...  it will almost certainly take longer to get them back then getting the receiver engraved.

the only reason i wait is because if they mess up the spelling on the engraving, or i lose the lower in the mail or some freak sh*t i wont have to make that call to the ATF..

You can't get it done any place local?  Even if it's a jewlry store or something I couldn't see them having a problem with just a stripped receiver.

Good idea.  The one time there is a mistake is all it takes to make the hurry-up job seem like a small benefit for all of the trouble it takes to correct.

nope i have done some looking around town and have found nothing, and i would rather have someone that has expierience engraving weapons do it, i dont mind the wait...
