What type of trust do i need for NFA toys and what the best way to set one up.  Do you have to pay any taxes on the trust come tax time.

Thanks

sounds like you need a basic revocable living trust.  You can set up one using quicken willmaker.  Can't comment on your state laws or whatever when it comes to trusts, but a trust doesn't have any fees associated with it like a corporation does.

Here is the Federal 1041 tax return Instruction Guide. Page 4 describes who needs to file. There is also a way to file a trust tax return, if necesary, as part of the grantor's (IIRC) personal 1040.

In my state, necesity to file a trust tax return is directly linked to federal filing necesity.

I'm not going to pretend to know Nebraska state law- here is your states current year tax site. Good luck
