| Just got a form 1 back today and it had no ATF control #. Got the stamp with serial # and date stamped on it with their initals. Has big letter/numberings stamped at the very top of the page. I have a couple other stamps and they all have the ATF control # filled in. Do I need to call them or even worry about it? Thanks in advance. |
The letter= maker letter first 3 numbers= date next 2= form # for that letter and day ie: A12345 would mean: Maker letter A (either first letter of last name or first letter of business entity name). 123rd day of the Julian calendar. 45th A application recieved that day. |

if it says, approved.... its got a stamp.... and its signed by an ATF official, who cares.. they sent it back to you with an Approved mark on it with a stamp... thats all you care about your good to go.. enjoy your new toy. Rob |
