I'm getting 50 DoD M-16s and have to do a form 10 after we get them. I don't want to do fifty forms. in the instructions it mentions an attachment listing may be used. Is there any secret to the "attachment listing" Or is it just that simple? Type in see attachment listing then attach a list of serial numbers. I've done my own form 1s and 4s but this seems too simple.

Thanks

Why not go to the source and call NFA branch?  After all, they're the ones that will end up accepting or rejecting the attachment.

deputygadget,

Don't know the answer to your question, but I believe I, being a fellow Floridian, can assist you in another way: since you are obviously going to have to function/reliability test all those rifles, I would be more than willing to help out

It really is that simple. Only LE and qualified museums use form 10s, and BATFE cuts them a bit more paperwork slack than they do for civilian owners.

With .223 FET off duty ammo approaching $1/round, I don't think free government M16s are such a good deal anymore.  This might be the beginning of the end of PDs moving away from sub caliber machineguns and into .223 rifles.
