yeah I hear you but I really dont want to say anything bad about the guy because he did approve my F4 today and I have to be thankful for that.  I did have to be persistent in the matter and work on it but today was my first approval for a Machine Gun and I am soooooooooooooo happy right now.

glad to be an official NFA collector but like I said... yeah I got approved today but only when I have the F4 in hand from my dealer and I am driving home with my toy (I hope sometime next week) will I consider it a done deal.

but wow!!!! this is cool...  what a process...

Who was your examiner?  I sent my form in for an M-16 before quite a few people that are saying that they just got approved.  Makes me jealous.  My rifle is coming out of an estate and it was a PITA to get the executor to sign the documents.  I've been waiting a year this month.  Now that the end is so near with my form pending...my patience is on its last strings.  Have fun with the new toy!

sounds like the old days.

my examiner was Bill Shipman.  Its been approved but we will see how long it takes for my dealer to get the paperwork.  Hopefully it comes this week.

Well its been over a week since I was approved and Mr. Shipman told me over the phone the day he approved it he was putting it in the mail and still NOTHING  All the other people I see according to their timelines have their paperwork in like 3 days after approval.
Yes I know years ago the wait for NFA was months and months and months and sometimes over a year.  I know that... This is my first NFA item and I am just exited.

AHHHGGGG... this is driving me crazy...  People who started their process after I did already have their toys and I STILL am waiting.  But now its just for them to mail it out.  I bet its still sitting on his desk and he never sent it out.  Anton Wood told me on the phone today that he is famous for not sending stuff out after approval.  That makes me feel good.
I have this Friday off and I was planning on taking the new toy out to the range but I bet a million bucks the paperwork still is not at the dealers on friday....

aaarrrggggg!!!!

Mine was approved on 9/12 and it didn't hit my mailbox until 9/20.
Seems like a long time since you already know it was approved but can't do squat til the stamp gets there.

Shipman's my examiner as well. I had a Form 1 approved 18 JUL 07 and not delivered until 31 JUL 07 (sent 27 JUL 07). Somebody else approved by Shupman that day got there's in 10 days and another in 4. I was informed that while they aim to get them out next day after approval, it can take up to 30 days.

I actually called hours before my form arrived, and the receptionist was shocked to hear I didn't recieve it yet when he told me when it was approved.

Don't worry, it's coming.

she'll be getting plenty of trigger time...no doubt about it.

I am sure I am going to have to show my paperwork to the LE when they show up at the range.  Bunch of freakin anti gun/2nd amendment, tree huggers in my neck of the woods so when I start blastin a few mags at our range I know one of them is going to call the cops.
Cant wait to show my MG license and then my F4 paperwork and do a paperwork dump on the dude.  He will be like.... "uh... ok... um.... well I guess your all set...."
