The penalty for not doing this is up to 10years in jail and up to $250,000 fine. Of course for first offence they will let you off with minimal time served and just enough lawyer fees and fines that you sell your gun collection off to pay for it. Then you can spend the rest of your life not understanding why you can't buy a firearm, or vote, or serve in the military, or get elected to public office, or get any type of job which requires a security clearance. |
