I just got a used inline muzzel loader in the mail that I bought on Gun Broker, dis-assembled and as I took out the breech plug it pour black powder out and I pushed out a sabot. How did they ship this like this? Wouldnt they have been in big shit had it been found in shipping?

IMHO crap like this should be kept to yourself & not broadcast  for everyone to read. All it does is get Joe-Blow  Anti-Gun Guy going off the deep end & they`ll want some kind of law passed so you can`t have any kind of firearm shipped to your door.

As long as there was no cap/primer/whatever sets that gun off and there was no fire it's not going to just "go off" but yeah, just clean it, keep your mouth shut and go on about your business.  A lot of the people don't know much about muzzle loaders though so it happens occasionally; it's one of the reasons you mark your ramrod and also check every gun before you load it.

I work with an LE distributor brokering their trade-in firearms. You wouldn't believe the number of handguns shipped to us by POLICE DEPARTMENTS with a round in the chamber!
