I have a few BP pistols from Cabellas and I find that the pistol grips that came with them seem awfully small, and are a bit difficult to use - And I don't have big hands.  Does anyone else have this problem, and is there an answer like a slightly larger grip that could be substituted?

If you do have 1851s (the Navy model) it doesn't take much fitting to get an 1860 (Army model) grip on there. You just have to have the same company, if you got them from Cabela's you probably have Piettas. Just advertise that you want to swap and you will find guys with small(er) hands and 1860s that will swap grip frames with you.

If you have the 1860 models I don't know what to tell you other than find some aftermarket grips that are fatter, maybe a set of "staghorn" grips will do what you need...

If you have an 1851, IIRC it will take ruger blackhawk grips. Try a hogue rubber grip. Personally, I like my traditional wood grips on my '51s
