Any concerns with leaving a light coat of cosmoline on a rifle I don't intend to shoot? I've wiped it down but don't see any negatives. Even if it were to dry out I believe it's easy to remove still.

I have a Yugo M48 Mauser that looks as good as it did the day it was made in 1950-52 because the Yugo's stored it in cosmoline. (that's 60+ years)

It's worked well for hundreds of millions of rifles around the globe for about a century; no reason it won't work for you.
Brownells sells it if you can't find any locally.

RIG works just as well and is a hell of alot easier to remove.
