So I recently picked up a Romanian TTC Tokarev.  But apparently it has the Polish style hand grips.  Does anyone know how common this is?  Was it typical for these different manufacturers to "share" parts with each other?  I couldn't really find anything online, but maybe someone here knows more than Google!

Thanks

If it was imported by Century that is not uncommon.

They seem to mix their parts a lot.

I have one with a Romanian frame and a Polish slide.

It works just fine and the price was right.

Your pistol's parts were not mixed up by the Romanians, it was done by the importer.

I've got a #s matching Romy TTC just like yours, all matching but with Polish grips.  No big deal, it runs good and I like it.  Importer did it, mine is CAI.

I'd say they are getting to the bottom of the barrel, and are replacing shitty parts with whatever they can find.  Not like Century doesn't fuck them over when they install that retarded safety

Yup, CAI was the importer.  It's no biggie, really; it's almost brand new looking otherwise.  I shot it yesterday and it works just fine, too!

Yep same as mine.. come with polish grips.

No worries.. for a near unissued Tok for 220$ can't complain over something as simple as grips.
