So myself, being the lucky chap that I am, live in the wonderfully free state of New York. Until such time as this SAFE act horseshit gets hashed out, and we know where C&R license holders stand, I'm going to allow my FFL to expire. I just received the renewal notice today.
My question is this. Do I simply fill out the second section on the form that says "NOT RENEWING?" in big red text, and send the form back to the ATF? I know I don't have to send in my bound book or anything, but is there anything else I have do do aside from check the box, and sign and date the form? |
