| Anyone ever have a problem with the Winchester Model 88? Here is my dilemma. I am not familiar with this rifle whatsoever to begin with. This was my Grandfathers rifle and while checking function the lever was opened and now will not close. Maybe I am being a complete idiot but for the life of me I can not close the lever. It goes slightly back then stops abruptly. Not much else I can say about it. So the lever is in full open position an will go down slightly then stop, rifle is unloaded and does the same with the magazine in or removed. Anyone know something that could shed some light on this? If you need pics I can get some. Thanks in advance. |
