I am having a problem with my TY-33 hammer. When I rack Tue slide almost every time the hammer follows the slide back and comes to rest at half cock. This just started yesterday after my range time. Went out and put 200 rounds through it and the last 16 rounds were one at a time due to the hammer following the slide.
Took it apart and can not see anything wrong with the hammer assembly. Even cleaned out some left over gunk out of it as well and still have the same problem. I am now at a loss as to what is happening and could use some help. |

Check the sear spring , when it loses tension it won't keep the sear in contact with hammer and it will jump out of the hooks and let the hammer follow.
If you remove the hammer/sear assembly it is a small flat spring you can't miss. bend it to increase pressure on sear. |
