Ran across a non import marked #s matching 1938. Almost non existing finish overall condition I would call it poor condition cosmetically, mechanically I have no idea. What would be a fair price I'm thinking $150 max.what says the hive?

Soviet TT-33's are a curious animal. Very few are in anything approaching "excellent" condition externally; heavily worn is the rule. $150 seems rather low.

$350 on the low side.

Soviet TT-33's, non-import marked are not an easy find and are highly collectible.

Prices on ones with bringback papers, full rigs, and matching numbers can sometimes approach $1000 depending on condition.

$150 would be a steal.

I've got a 1950 Russian and a 1964 Chinese. They are surprisingly good shooters, accurate (once you get used to the sights), slim, easy to conceal carry, and the cartridge is powerful. Recoil is mild.  Here's the Chinese:

Don't have a good photo of the Russian

Is this the pistol we're talking about?  I gave someone $200 in trade for this last year and I thought I paid too much. It dated 1938, no import marks and all the numbers match.

Three years ago I sold a 1943 dated, bare metal rattltrap with cross checked wood grips, one magazine and no holster for $400
If you can get them for $150-$200 by all means buy them!

Don't see many offered these days and rarely below $400 with the better ones that I've seen falling between $500 and $700 asking prices.
