A guy is selling one locally and I'd like to know what the current going rate is. It has import markings fron CDI Swan. Apparently all the numbers match, the bore is bright and shiny, the bluing is very nice, and the stock while in nice shape has two arsenal repairs. It is not a sniper and does not have the cutouts for a scope mount. I do not know from which arsenal it originated. I would be getting the rifle, sling, cleaning kit and one magazine. Thanks in advance.

I sold a 90% bring back for $1600, so I would say $600 is about right.

He's asking $800 and says he's firm at that price.

$800 is about fair market value for a refurb. If it's a Finn capture, numbers matching (original), or Kovrov arsenal, that's a deal.

I sold a very nice refurb last year for $650  and have been seeing them sell in the $800 + range.

Based on what i have seen someone will buy it for $800 if you dont.

Double check on the matching numbers as mostof them were EP'd and had non mtaching EP'd magazines.

Between $800 and $1200 is the going rate.  Correct me if wrong, but I think most have the scope rails so yours would be rarer.

I bought one for 575 two weeks ago. Thats probably as low as I could hope to see them.

Was it papered? Most "bring back" SVTs are non-import marked rifles brought in from Finland in the '50s.
