| What is a good price for these rifles? Any things in particular I should look for? |
|
They seem to have come down in price, like a lot of other guns lately. I see nice examples selling for $250. - $325. I stumbled on one in January for $199. which I jumped on. I found the correct sling & bayonet for it which I paid $25. for.
I was at a flea market two weeks ago and saw one that looked to be in 100% condition for $300. And, I probably could have talked him down a couple of bucks from there. I'll probably regret it some day. The thing looked BRAND NEW. As far as what to look for...just the normal stuff like matching numbers and a strong bore. I also like a nice sharp crest on top of the receiver - some of them are ground off. |

I bought both of mine for $100 back in 2006, but prices quickly rose to just under $400 in the next few years. They have seemed to stabilize and may have even dropped some. Just look for one with a decent bore and good park. |
