Can one purchase C or R handguns out of state with a CR license?

Is there a limit on the number you can buy at a time with a C&R? I see deals with 2 or more purchase on some sites. Not that I know of. If they're C&R eligible, you should be good to go, providing that they're all for your collection (and not for resale). -Mark |

Quoted: In PA cannot a private person buy through an FFL? NC's pistol permit does not apply out of state, just inside NC In pa so long as it goes through a FFL its all good....basically no FTF sales of handguns unless it takes place at the FFL. for some reason I was thinking you were going to use an out of state C&R to purchase a handgun in a different state FTF or from a dealer in a different state. Thats where you run into local law issues. That and, AFAIK and I very well may be wrong, you have to be a resident of that state to purchase a handgun there or at least show proof you live in that state. Long guns I know arent an issue.. If you're purchasing a gun from a different state and want to use your C&R for it and it is getting shipped to you, you're fine then Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
