I have 2 russian M44's and am wondering what the current going rate is on these? I got them a few years ago when Centerfire had them on sale, 2 for $130. They are both Izzy. One is a solid wood stock, 1944 dated, and matching numbers and is in about 85% condition. The other is a laminate stock, 1945 dated, and appears to be near new with new-looking bore. I know these have seemed to have stopped coming in and have heard they have increased in value. I was just wanting a rough idea of what they would be worth. Neither are counterbored.

I paid $130 for mine (and was NOT happy about it) they are getting a little more scarce so prices might go up some but it is not unheard of to still pick one up for $89.

I bought a beautiful one from Cabelas a few years back for $175... sold it for the same (additional sling, cleaning kit, stripper clips, new firing pin spring, and ammo).

I bought it only to shoot at the range, but picked up a M1903 a few months later that I began to use. Got to the point that it was just taking up space in the safe (the bayonet would take up two slots), so I sold it. If I didn't, I was going to put on a P/U mount.

I had a few people contact me saying that they would give me $80-$100 for it. I know that Mosins are pretty cheap, but for that price, I would keep the gun. Most respected that, but a handful decided to get pissy.

I wouldn't sell them for less than $150. - $175. each.  The cheap M44s dried up abruptly about two years ago.  And, even when they were plentiful, the vast majority were counter-bored.

they sell for about 120-130 in my area, I wouldn't pay more than 130 for one, especially a Russian one. A minty Polish one on the other hand

Roughly $120 for the hardwood and $150 for the laminate. Check the auction sites to get a good idea. I haven't seen laminate stocked M44s in a few years, so you may be able to get a little more for them.

Of coarse they are worth what you can get for them. Five or six years ago a local shop had a few laminate stocked Izzy M44s for $220 each and they sold them over time. That was back when M44s were going for $50-80.

I picked one up a couple years ago for $79.  I also got a Yugo Mauser for $120, and a Yugo SKS for $130.  One the few times I got in on a deal before the prices went up. The M44 is a work of art in my opinion.
