Even though it is already sold, I do not think it was worth the price. No cupped butt plate, bluing not stated to be in that good of condition and there is rust coming through in multiple spots on the receiver. On top of that the bore really makes the difference, and it was stated to be in NRA very good which again for the price being asked it isn't worth it.

They didn't have cupped buttplates. Not sure if that is rust. Pics are too crappy. Could be where the Soviet finish has worn off revealing the original German finish. I've seen 98ks like that before. It's a little high, but most captured K98ks are going for $300-400 now days. I'd probably buy it if I could look it over first. |

The condition of Soviet captured K98ks vary drastically. You don't know what you are going to get online. That's why I mentioned I would have to look one over before I buy. That is unless you find a single rifle for sale online with clear pictures. Interordnance has a few lots of rifles with "intact markings" left, but they have the bores stated as "fair to good". Usually fair bore = sewer pipe. Besides that it isn't in that good of condition, NRA rating of very good to me is not even close to worth that price. |
| also check on surplusrifleforums, and the family friendly section, there is a guy there that sells them and they are suppose to be really nice...name is Todd..... his have all the markings.... start around 340....
