How come the SOG prices listed on my invoice are always a little higher than what's posted on their website?
For instance I ordered some 5rd CETME mags, they listed for 3.95, I was charged 4.03, amd M44 sling was 4.95, I was charged 5.05 and an M95 was 6.00 more than it listed for. Not a big deal, just wondering why? Is it because I have a C&R and not a Type 01 FFL?

The amount that you were overcharged is peanuts...but I'd make a phone call to see what the deal is.  That would bother me a little.

Exactly, I don't care about the amount, but I also wouldn't care if they listed the higher amount, I still would've bought from them.

uh, because SOG sucks?

How do they get away with advertising the wrong prices for rifles on their website and in their flyer month after month?  They finally raised the prices of their M44's, but.....never again.  I wouldn't give SOG a damn dime even if they had G43's for $400.  Well, that's an exageration.

If you read the payment terms it says price reflects cash discount, all other payment types are charged a 2% markup. There rule may stink, but it is clearly stated

I feel better now, at least i know where the extr cost is coming from.

Their posted price has been a cash price. There's a notation somewhere in the ad (usually not hard to find) that credit cards are charged extra. They've done that for years.

FWIW I bought a lot of C&R guns when I had the FFL but never bought a single thing from SOG. There was a saying that went like "I've been SOG'd", meaning hosed and related adverbs.
