I have a 1941 byf, Russian Capture k98 and I was wondering what is the best reproduction scope mount that I can use for this rifle without using the far-eye relief?
Thanks |

Or you could go for No-Drill No-Tap No Gunsmith mounts: http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/5833/dsc09523nb4.jpg http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/5605/dsc09544sigsi8.jpg IIRC, that mount is made by Iron Elite, who last time I checked, was no longer selling them. Ive wanted one for some time for my K98 as well |

Although Iron-Elite doesn't have a website anymore, I believe he (Robert Krenzel) still conducts business.
I received my scope mount (as shown above) directly from him toward the end of last September. The lastest contact info I have is: Robert Krenzel of Iron-Elite: 1-630-834-1202 PDM 121 W. Home Ave. Villa Park, IL 60181 Keep in mind he produces these on an as-needed basis so it may take awhile to get yours. (Mine took almost 6 months.) |
