How do you adjust the firing pin protusion of a 98 mauser bolt?

You don't.
You simply buy a new firing pin.

I you have too little protrusion, the firing pin tip is worn or has been altere, or is a broken pin someone just re-shaped the tip on making it too short.
Since the firing pins are case hardened, any stoning to try to adjust protrusion will break through the glass-hard thin coating and expose soft metal.
The pin will very quickly wear and become dangerous.  Buy a new pin.

If you have too much protrusion, this is a sign of either a battered pin or bolt that's allowing the pin to protrude too much, or a replaced firing pin that doesn't fit correctly.
Al long as you're SURE everything else is Okay and the pin tip is just too long, you can stone it.
You MUST keep the same tip shape to prevent primer problems.

Thankyou for the reply.Looks like I will need to get a new pin.My problem is too little protusion. And it is not setting off different types of ammunition. Are all the 98 type firing pins the same in the standard large ring rifles?

The Yugo m48's and 24/47's are different than the German k98's. The action on the Yugo's is about 1/4 inch shorter.
ETA–– What ammo are you having problems with? My 24/47 has trouble firing 1950's Yugo ammo. A second try will fire them every time. The Yugo ammo has very hard primer cups and sometimes the firing pin spring will be weak and not set them off the first go 'round. You can buy a stiffer spring from Wolff, or like me, use the misfire to test yourself for flinching! Mine will average 2-3 misfires per 15 rounds of Yugo ammo, it works 100% with Romanian and my reloads.
Have you actually measured the FP protrusion?

I have already tried the wolff spring no difference;the ammo I tried is the yugo '50s and some czech '40s.The yugo is 100%
failure to fire in this rifle,so is the czech. But both fire fine in my other rifles. The rifle will fire will fire turkish 8mm without any
problems but I would like this rifle to be able to fire the yugo aswell. How do you check the firing pin protusion?
The rifle is one of the turkish model 38's
