Depends on whether its a Kar98a or Kar98b or Kar98k... ?
What kind of Mosin? A Finn m/1891 with a B-barrel or Finn 91/30 would certainly be tough competition to a common Russian war reparation K98k. Especially if the Finn rifle had new stock & handguard. A Finn m/1891-24 wtih a SIG barrel would be way cool. A Finn m/28 or m/28-30 would also trump any common ol' K98k. But if you meant Kar98a or b then that's a different story altogether. How's a body to know? The last Kar98b I saw was a stunning fresh rebuild unissued with marking provenance to the Condor legion. Is that what you meant? I'll loose sleep tonight over this because you didn't say...  .
