I had someone on here tranlate a letter for me a while back, to send to a swiss soldier, can't remember who it was.  I need to send some other short letters out to some swiss people in hopes of finding another swiss soldier.  Anyone want to help??

I speak a bit of German, but not really enough to help write a letter.

You could write in in English, run it through bablefish,a nd then maybe we could help you correct the inevitable grammar and vocabulary mistakes.

Is it going to be in hochdeutsch (standardized german) or suissedeutsch (Swiss dialect)?  Pretty much two different languages.  I'm rusty as hell but can work my way through hochdeutsch.  Can't speak or understand suisse.

You could try this:

I don’t know how accurate it is, but you could use it to translate most of your work, and have some one proof read and correct it.

Ich weiß nicht, wie genau es ist, aber Sie können es verwenden, um zu übersetzen die meisten Ihrer Arbeit, und einige haben ein Nachweis lesen und korrigieren sie.
