What are the most common parts that break on these rifles and which I should stock spare parts for? What's the best place to find M1 Garand spare parts kits? Thanks for any input you can give to a brand newbie owner.

Recoil spring, hammer spring.

Never broke anything else.

I've heard of broken extractors and bolt lugs though.

The piston can wear out and the gas tube can corrode too.

I had the tail break off a firing pin once.

Now I have a spare.
