Just a guess, but it looks like it might fit on a No.1, Mark III, just in front of the bolt handle on the right side. If so, you’ll need to drill and tap two holes in the receiver to attach it. (You should be able to see two screw holes already in the sight, one visible, and one underneath the slide.) You may also need to inlet the stock a bit. |
| My copy of Lyman's Reloading Guide 41st Edition (1957) lists the "55 C" receiver sight as being for the Stevens .22-410 over and under. The only sight they list for the Lee-Enfield is the "48 LE", there is a "57 SME" but it looks like it's for the 03 Springfield, 98 Mauser, and 1917 Enfield/P14.....all basically the same action. |
