K31...no question...not even close!...only on my list it was followed by 7 mosin nagants...then a K98, and 2 yugo mausers...then 4 SKS's..then an Enfield..then a Finn...and a Garand.....and a........oh shit I'm gettin of track....

If you are looking for the historical aspect, I'd get a K98. I really want one someday. If you just plan to shoot it, get the K31, I hear they are super accurate.
And yes, +1 on the get both.

I would go for the K-31 first as the numbers don't seem as plentiful as the k98s. This will also buy you time to research the k98s to determine which to go after.
