Has anyone done much to improve the trigger on the Mosin?  My brother is an accuracy nut and naturally making the trigger good is a big part of it, so I want to help make his extra good.  Are there any tutorials on how to do work on it?

I haven't tried the Hubert but I did try the shim. Worked pretty good. I still need to do some polishing though.

I shimed and polished and had great results. I polished with a buffing wheel on my bench grinder and the breaks like glass @4.5 lbs with a mile of over travel.

i have the huber trigger installed and it does make a big difference imho...
you no longer have the slop and trigger pull was reduced by at least 50% however!,

well worth the money imo besides the "minor" inletting... you would never know it was an after market trigger just buy looking at it when installed.

I polished the sear  and the bottom side of the bolt the catches on the sear when the rifle is ready to fire. I'd did it on my M44 and 91/30. Seemed to drop the trigger pull down quite a bit.
