Hey guys...what should I be paying for a M44?  I was at a gun show today and they had them for $99 and looked brand new, some laminates for a touch over $100, and some others that were a bit beat up looking for about $50 (these appealed to my eye a lot more since they actually looked used).

Also how's the supply of ammo for them and how much does it usually cost?

I'm toying with the idea of getting one, if this is a good price that is.  I don't recall if they come with any accessories, I don't think they do since they were in a crate but I may be wrong.

Dunhams and Big Five usually have them on sale around $79.  If you have a C&R, you can get one shipped to your home in that range too.  $79-99 is average.    Omega still may have some Chinese Mosin T53 for $35.  Surplus ammo will around $41/tin of 440rds.  Brown Bear or S&B can run around $8-14/20rds.

how's the overall supply of it?  Like is there the possability of it drying up in the next 5 years?

Oh, and I don't have a C&R, wish I could get one though.  I'd love to get a K98 from AIM....maybe if any of you C&R guys got a couple and have one you don't like as much and would like to sell it and better your collection you could let me know :D

Those prices are good for a gunshow.  The ammo is cheap and there's a variety of it.
