Just bought one over the weekend. Was curious what information you guys had about removing the stock? I can get the top wood off, and can loosen the lower stock, but I am confused by the retaining ring on the barrel at the end? Do I hammer it off? I would like to remove the cosmoline from under the stock so that I can refinish the wood on the rifle. Right now, after shooting a bandolier of ammo, there is cosmoline oozing out. she shoots well, but she is hitting 1.5 " low and left at 100 yards. Any advice on that? TRG |
