| ok...here's what happended..i removed the bolt in its entirety from the rifle and after getting it out, the safety is not in the upright position (its in the fire position) which makes it impossible to get back into the rifle. not sure how to get it back on safe so it will fit back into the rifle. |

The bolt shroud has rotated into the fired position. If you have reasonably strong hands, wrap a rag around the shroud to protect your hands and just give the shroud a twist CLOCKWISE until it rotates back into the correct position. If you can't do this, put the bolt on a sharp-edged table with the bolt sear on he bottom of the cocking piece over the edge. Push forward HARD until the cocking piece moves back slightly and you can lift the bolt handle, which will put the bolt back in the proper position. |
