1. It's not like the Swiss K31 is rare or expensive. 2. If he didn't cut the original stock, it can be reconfigured back to orginal. (even if he did see #1) 3. Most of us have more than one K31 4. It is his rifle to do with as he wishes |
Sorry if my sarcastic sense of humor is wasted on the internet...... ![]() While I agree with all of your statements, I still cringe a little bit....remember, at one time 1903's , Enfields, K98's ect, were just considered cheap surplus too, and sporterized to death. Now look at what an untouched example goes for......just my opinion...... |
So true. Sometimes you guys act like he's butchering a 5000 dollar rifle, when in fact he's just replacing the stock on an 80$ rifle. Talk about gun snobs. |
+1 ! Not to mention that when you look at production numbers, there are hardly any k31s out there compared to k98s, Enfields, and USGI rifles. k31s will be collector's rifles in just a few years. It's his to do with what he wishes but when k31s disappear from the surplus market and values skyrocket, he might wish he'd left it alone... |
Those are so friggin' nice. |
